Install the expertise.
Skills are folders of instructions your coding agent loads on demand. This is a plain-spoken index of the open-source ones: what each does, when to reach for it, and the one command to install it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a description, and instructions (sometimes scripts) that the agent pulls in only when a task calls for it.
Find one
Search by the job you have, such as "debugging", "word files" or "seo".
Install it
Point the open-source skills CLI at the publisher's repo and pick what you want.
$ npx skills add obra/superpowers
Just ask
The agent matches your request against each skill's description and loads it by itself.

Questions
Which agents can use these skills?
Any agent that supports the SKILL.md format, including Claude Code and the Claude apps, OpenAI Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI. Some skills call tools such as Playwright or a cloud CLI, which you'll need installed too.
Are they safe to install?
Skills can include scripts the agent may run. Read the SKILL.md and any scripts in the repo before installing, the same as with any dependency.
Who maintains this list?
Agentic Kit is an independent list. The skills belong to their authors and use their own licenses. The descriptions here are our own summaries.
How do I suggest a skill?
Add an entry to the S list in this page's source with a name, publisher, category, summary, a "use it when" line and a few tags.
